Piano lessons are a positive and lasting memory in any child’s life. Music lessons are great for the whole mind and can help to develop the memory, concentration, self-esteem, language, mathematical and reasoning skills – but most importantly, music itself is an important life skill and something to continue sharing with friends and family at all stages in life.
Many of my students are also adults beginning piano lessons for the first time or continuing piano lessons to renew their relationship with music. Adults often express hesitation at studying piano but are actually fast learners once they are fully committed to daily practice.
From term 2 of 2010 I am available for lessons at times that suit you: before or after school, during your lunch break or on weekends. Students usually have one lesson per week but the time taken varies depending on the level and personality of the student.
To find out more, come to a free or charge placement audition and meeting. At the meeting we will discuss your goals and favourite styles of music. We will then establish the style of lessons that will help you to achieve your goals. No matter what your goals I will teach you correct technique and theory that will help you to achieve a fantastic performance.
